Horror Insurance
The new comedy-horror short by Christopher Pinto, "Horror Insurance" is currently in production, with shooting wrap date expected to be March 15, 2026.
The plot centers around a homeowner who is approached by a door-to-door insurance saleswoman, offering Horror Insurance, to protect against injury or death incurred during an attack by a ghost, cryptid, monster, or other supernatural beings.

When the homeowner refuses, the salesperson calls on her colleagues (vampires, serial killers, and monsters) to "gently persuade" the homeowner into a sale.
Written and directed by Christopher Pinto, the 15 minute short is a collaboration with some of the best talent in South Florida, including Cameron Nolan (Magic Coffin Bank, Big Easy Queens), Erynn Dalton (Big Easy Queens, American Cryptids), Tyler Charles Kane (American Cryptids, The Grave Digger) and more.

Shot on a micro-micro budget on location in Broward County, Florida, this is Pinto's third short to utilize his his own, eclectic home for sets, including his 1950s style Tiki Bar.

Principal shooting wrapped on March 14th, 2026. Final cut is expected to be ready for the 2026 festival season.
